Banana Phone is an object whose intention is to elicit confusion and frustration. It is a phone that rings but cannot be answered; the form has contradicting signifiers.

The distance sensor will trigger the ringer when the person walks by and the magnetometer will shut off the ringer when the banana is picked up.
